REVIEW: Graze box!

Hello there my lovelys!
I'm sure many of you have read over and over the same reviews of beauty boxes? Well I decided to do something different for my other love. Food.
This is a "graze" nibble box, the "graze" team select different kinds of foods which you have rated on the website so you know you'll like the foods they select.

On the website you can also tell them when and when not to send the box e.g send one for a family member for a special occasion or delay the box if you're going on holiday. Or if you want to cancel your box this is also on the website.

When you open your box two little booklets await you. The first is a "welcome" booklet which basically just describes the content of the box and the nutritional information. Your second booklet is a "hello" booklet which introduces you to the box. All these tasty snacks come in little - plastic covered - snack pots (my personal favorite are the Japanese rice crackers).

ALSO! when you get your first box you are given 4 coupons for your friends/ family to receive a free box!

This is what the box looks like when first opened (admittedly not as pretty as a glossy box) but all the materials it's made out of are recycled!
From top left to bottom right: Rock the casbah, Very nori-sh,  Tropical daiquiri, Summer berry flapjack

Rock the casbah: pumpkin seeds, walnuts and dates
Very nori-sh: Japanese rice crackers with nori seaweed
Tropical daiquiri: sour mango, lime sultanas and pineapple
Summer berry flapjack: rustic flapjack with berry infused cramberries.

so if this sounds appealing to you check them out?

REVIEW: Models Own - Pearly Queen

I have a love/hate relationship with Models Own nail polishes. You get a lot of product (14ml) in a £5 pot, but quite a few coats are needed to produce an opaque look. With this nail varnish I would recommend 3 coats -  even though 1 coat achieves a subtle colour/sheen  - with 3 coats the colour and smoothness is far better.

I decided that the colour on its own wasn't quite enough for my liking so I teamed it up with Miss Sporty- Sparkle Touch (7ml).

I tried to find a good angle for my camera to take a picture of the varnish on but it was being stubborn so this is as good as it gets!

so where have I been?

dear my small amount of followers,
i'm sorry I haven't posted anything for a while, you see i've been away in Iceland and the Lake district for a while. And I have also had a bad case of the "A levels"; so I couldn't post much. But to make it up to you here are some pictures I took whilst I was In Iceland :) and i'll label them so you know what they are. I'll post soon, enjoy! xxxx
 Blue Lagoon spa. VERY steamy.
Planking on the tectonic plates as you do.

 GEYSIR
 Crater of a volcano.

A glacier with a long funny name that we went up.

Haul: Peacocks, H&M, New look and Republic

Small haul here for you guys, I went shopping because I needed to update my wardrobe with some autumn colours etc...

Thick Cardigan (£28) - (navy blue and white) from Peacocks and is from the mens section for about £28 (I can't remember the original price as I get student discount) I cannot even begin how to describe how warm and cosy this is! The pattern is cute and christmassy, oh and lets face it. men's clothes are sometimes wayyy better than ours!

Thin Cardigan (£10) and Body Con Skirt (£4) - from H&M they are from the "basics" range. I got them in navy because I am having a slight obsession with that colour at the moment and it is really on trend. (also Kate Middleton wears A LOT of navy blue)

Lace top (£15) - IS BEAUTIFUL and from New Look, burgundy is a lovely colour and is really on trend at the moment (colour of dead leaves and all the jazz). That and I don't really have any lace tops, mainly because I am really clumsy so I end up pulling them and ripping them ect.

Jeans (£40) - well I think they are £40 I got these quite a while ago but I added them in this haul because they are still in store. They are from Republic and are a gorgeous cotton candy pink colour, I like coloured denim but I think bright red and blue are a bit too ''in your face". If you want to but defiantly try them on first because I needed a size bigger because of the "super skinny"ness .

Review: Maybelline pure-liquid mineral foundation

Hello my lovely's.
If you are like me and you want a foundation that gives you a good coverage, evens out your skin tone but overall is good for your skin. Well then this is your answer! The foundation isn't thick and cakey. It has a medium yo build able coverage. It costs currently £8.19 at Boots.
This is my all time favourite foundation. It's ''special features'' if you like are:
  • SPF 18
  • 12 minerals
  • Oil free
  • Lets skin ''breathe"
